A Colorado micro-wedding planner who's been to every site

A micro-wedding — for me, 12 to 20 people — has more moving parts than an elopement: guests to get there, a ceremony site that fits everyone, dinner, maybe dancing, and much less room for guesswork.

I'm Wendee Vezzetti. I've planned micro-weddings and elopements in the Colorado mountains since 2012. Answer nine questions and I'll send you a plan with matched sites, your package and price, and a budget on your numbers.

One planner, start to finish

You work with me from your first question to your last toast. I plan it with you, then my team and I run the day so your guests can simply enjoy it.

What I take off your plate

Ceremony site selection and permits, photography, officiant, flowers, cake, a custom timeline and an onsite coordinator who handles pickups, deliveries and the little things. On the Small Wedding package we start at your lodging for getting-ready photos and finish with a cake cutting at your dinner.

Dinner, guests and the details

Private restaurant rooms, a personal chef at a vacation home, benches for your guests — your plan flags what fits your group and what it will realistically cost.

How a micro-wedding day actually runs

Most days start with getting-ready photos at your lodging, then a short drive to the ceremony site. The ceremony is timed for the best light of the day, so your portraits land in soft afternoon light rather than harsh noon sun.

After the vows: a champagne toast while your photographer works through family shots and the two of you, then dinner — a private restaurant room or a personal chef at a vacation house — with toasts, your first dance and the cake cutting.

No two days run the same, so yours comes with a custom timeline: drive times, walking distance from the parking area, weather for your month, and exactly when the ceremony should start.

Questions couples ask

What counts as a micro-wedding?
For us, a micro-wedding is 12 to 20 people total. Anything up to 12 is an elopement, and 21 to 45 is a small wedding. A group of 12 to 15 fits the Hybrid package; above that it's the Small Wedding package.
How much does a Colorado micro-wedding cost?
Hybrid starts at $4,100 and Small Wedding at $5,100, depending on destination. Your plan prices the package for the area you choose and builds a budget around your dinner, guests and extras.
We live out of state. Can you plan it remotely?
Yes — most of my couples plan from another state. I handle the sites, permits, vendors and timeline, and an onsite coordinator runs the day.
How far ahead should we book?
Micro-wedding couples book about nine months out on average, though we can plan much faster when needed.
Can we have a real reception — dinner and dancing?
Usually yes, but it depends where you marry. A private room at a restaurant or a vacation house gives you dinner, music and dancing; most public-land sites don't allow amplified music. Your plan flags which of your matched sites allow music and dancing, and what dinner will realistically cost for your group.
What does the onsite coordinator actually do on the day?
They get there ahead of you, handle pickups and deliveries, keep the timeline moving, and deal with the small things — an extra chair, a vendor running late, a shift in weather — so neither you nor your guests are the ones solving problems.
