Nearly every couple starts with a picture in their head. Here is how those pictures translate into real places, and what each one asks of you in fees, walking and permits.
Alpine lakes
Still water, a peak reflected behind you and a short walk from the car. The most requested look in Colorado — and the one that fills first in June and September.
Dramatic mountain backdrops
High overlooks and open meadows with the Continental Divide behind you. Best from late June through early October once the passes are clear.
Aspen groves and pine forest
Sheltered, private and quiet, with golden aspen through late September. A good choice when wind or weather could be a problem.
Waterfalls and creeks

Permits, honestly
Three ways a site gets booked
- We include it. Some sites — especially the quieter “rogue” spots — need no permit at all, so they simply fold into your package.

- You reserve it directly. A few venues and towns require the couple to book through their own process; we walk you through it step by step.
